The Limit of the Wind Turbine Maximum Efficiency with Given Sizes in Specific Wind Conditions

In the paper, parameters of 115 types existing wind turbines (WT) were analyzed and their power curves modeled by using Weibull cumulative distribution function (CDF). On basis these data, regression equations obtained for CDF WT due to main sizes: nameplate capacity generator P rotor D. Based on analysis sizes, model average used (AUP) in specific conditions has been built. The area existence possible values sizes D is defined. presence local maxima AUP at fixed diameters revealed. An analytical relationship was found between optimal different conditions. Certain restrictions maximum diameter depending capacity. starting speed 3.37 m per s, which turbine starts working, determined theoretically.
